GARNET PORTA - 4-axis door leaf processing machine
The GARNET PORTA is a highly versatile 4-axis door leaf processing machine
Engineered to perform a range of operations such as drilling holes, milling slots, and machining the top, back, and bottom surfaces of door leaves. These tasks are executed with precision using a servo-controlled 4-axis spindle motor.
The Machine is designed to accommodate door dimensions of up to 144 inches in length, 55 inches in width, 6 inches in height, and 5 inches in surface width.
Processing begins by positioning the door profile on the right side of the machine, on the input conveyor, with the profile facing the servo-controlled robot. By FANUC automation, operators can easily input specific values or select pre-programmed operations via the intuitive screen interface.
After configuring the operation, the operator simply presses the start button to designate which task should be performed on each surface of the door profile.
The servo-controlled robot then automatically moves the profile to the processing area where vertical pneumatic pistons securely hold the door in place. The machine carries out the operations in the sequence determined by the operator. Upon completion, the robot transfers the processed door to the output conveyor on the left side of the machine. To process the opposite side of the door, the operator manually flips the profile and places it on the horizontal ball conveyor. The robot, which initially loads the profile, now performs the referencing task for the second operation. The operator can precisely adjust the robot’s position on the screen to the desired location. Once the position is confirmed, the operator presses the start button to begin the second operation, applying the same
sequence of tasks as on the first side.
Once the entire process is complete, the finished door leaf is removed from the left side of the machine.
